Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through appixi.com, including the information you send through our contact form or by contacting Appixi directly. It does not govern a client project when a separate agreement or project-specific privacy notice applies.
In this policy, “Appixi,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Appixi, based in Cumming, Georgia, United States.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit the contact form, email us, call us, or otherwise communicate with us, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, company details, the content of your message, and any other information you choose to provide.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, analytics, and form-protection systems may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, request date and time, referring page, pages requested, interaction events, session statistics, approximate location, and security signals. We use Google Analytics to measure website use and Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.
Information we do not request
Please do not submit sensitive personal information, passwords, payment-card information, health information, government identifiers, or confidential client data through the general contact form.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and communicate about a potential project;
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the website;
- measure visits, sessions, navigation, and interactions so we can understand and improve website use;
- protect the contact form, website, visitors, and Appixi from spam, fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
- keep appropriate business and communication records;
- comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims; and
- send marketing communications only when permitted by applicable law, with a way to opt out.
Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information because you consented; because processing is necessary to take steps you request before entering a contract or to perform a contract; because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, operating our business, and securing the website; or because we must comply with a legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it subject to legal or contractual limits.
How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to service providers that help us host the website, measure website use, deliver email, operate business systems, protect the contact form, or provide professional advice. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and under their own legal obligations. Google processes website-measurement information through Google Analytics; see the Google Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, safety, and security; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; or when you direct or consent to the disclosure.
Appixi does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, evaluate or perform a project, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary with the nature of the information and the reason it was collected.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to send online.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to appeal our response. You may also have the right to receive information about the categories of information we collect, our purposes, and the parties to which we disclose it.
Residents of Brazil may also have rights under the LGPD to confirm processing, request portability where available, obtain information about sharing, and petition the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados. Canadian residents may ask about our privacy practices, withdraw consent where applicable, and raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. U.S. state residents may have additional rights where a state privacy law applies.
To make a request, email info@appixi.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
International processing
Appixi is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or other safeguards for international transfers.
Children
This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
